We have been building telematics technology since 2009. Today, Pilot works with partners and clients in more than 45 countries, combining software, international infrastructure and hands-on industry expertise.
It Started With a Simple Question
It would be useful to see what was happening across my fleet in real time.
From Prototype to Platform
Prototype
The first version of the platform was built by Alexander Tsarev and Sergey Bocharov alongside their regular work. The MVP could determine a vehicle’s location and collect vehicle data.
Multi-Vendor platform
The team shifted from building hardware to a platform that could work with devices from different manufacturers.
First Commercial Project
An energy company became Pilot’s first customer, using third-party hardware connected to the platform.
First International Partner
Alexander travelled to the UAE and met local telematics integrators in person. One of those meetings became the starting point for Pilot’s international expansion.
Pilot Today
What started as an experiment in vehicle monitoring has grown into an international telematics business working with partners and clients in 45+ countries.
